Review of Paths of Glory (1957) by William B — 15 Nov 2008
An excellent film that was expertly written, acted and directed. Calling it "anti-war" is unfair in my opinion, a label it gets because t doesn't glorify battle or the people who wage it.
Really it's a film railing against imperiousness and callous authoritarianism.
