One of Stanley Kubrick's early works. Kirk Douglas stars a movie about betrayal, loyalty, pain and redemtion during WWII. A french platoon is forced to take an enemy site knowing that it will be a certain failure.
They try but they can't make it. So the main general accuse some of them of cowardness. The result is shocking.
