Not my favorite Kubrick film, but it is very powerful and moving. Douglas does a great job and so do the three prisoners who are tried. The execution scene is particuarly powerful and realistic. I am very glad I saw it,and I think everybody should see it, but it didn't impact me like some other of his films did.
