Review of Paths of Glory (1957) by Cory T — 02 Jul 2011
A very good film. The direction is fantastic - the long takes that occur within the trenches during the battle sequences should serve as a textbook example of how to successfully make a war film. In addition, the storyline is compelling and tragic - and many portions of the film are oddly humorous as well.
Definitely worth seeing, especially for Kubrick fans.
