Review of Paths of Glory (1957) by Leo K — 30 Aug 2011
A very cryptic take on human disdain and corruption. The darkness of the antagonist is captivating, along with each characters inner beliefs of the war itself.
This certainly sheds some light on the unfriendly nature of war, even from your own front, and the ending certainly does not wain into hollywood territory. Instead it goes straight for reality.
A+.
