Review of Paths of Glory (1957) by Henry Kissenger On The Subway — 11 Jun 2008
This is the first of many kubrick films that made a statement politically and culturally. this movie is perfectly well done. never has there been a war story so electric, passionate, and heartbreaking.
it explores the generals faulty logic, and a civillian's heroism and shows the best and worst of humanity. justice vs. grieve all leading to the type of ending that almost makes you believe we can find world peace.
