Review of Paths of Glory (1957) by Cle S — 18 May 2014
One of the most bloodless war movies I've seen and though one of the best! Kirk Douglas plays a Colonel who fights for the right of three soldiers who have been chosen to be shot in the name of their whole company.
While the movie doesn't take place at the front the whole time, Kubrick manages to keep it hunting till the end and you as a viewer keep longing for justice.
