Paterson is a 2016 dramedy (drama and comedy) written and directed by Jim Jarmusch. The film stars Adam Driver as a bus driver and aspiring poet named Paterson and Golshifteh Farahani as his wife who dreams of being a country music star and operating a cupcake business.
It was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival where it won the Palm Dog Award. If there is one thing that Paterson teaches its viewers is to look beyond the obvious, admire beauty in its many shapes and forms.
Follow your dreams and aspirations, be creative, try new things. After reading the Time Magazine review of this film, I was compelled to rent it and it was time well spent. Available from Redbox.
