Review of Paterson (2016) by Lou A — 07 Dec 2016
-quiet performance by Adam Driver exhibiting the subtle poetry of his daily life. Farahani's character is endearingly earnest. Final poem poignantly ties together the third act. As can be expected, filmmaking craftsmanship is top notch with Jarmusch.
-as with other Jarmusch films, too little drama and plot. Additional plot to this story wouldn't have worked, but it does result in a film that's not my cup of tea.
-would need to highlight reviews, Driver's performance and make sure the Jarmusch fans get to the theater.
