After watching Paterson, I wondered how would Jim Jarmusch pitch this film if this was sent to a major studio. How would he explain it. "well, its a week in the life of this guy and his daily life.
Nothing much happens, just common people, daily routines, everyday talk...,and this guy writes poetry, thats the movie!" and.....thats what I really like about Paterson. Its a movie about the beauty of everyday life.
Its not leading to anything big or grand, nothing really happens, its just....life. Its a film about life and finding beautiful things out of it. I really liked this film and while some would probably get bored watching it with that premise, I think its worth at least a viewing.
