Review of Patch Adams (1998) by Brian R — 11 Nov 2009
It's not great, but I enjoyed it for the most part. Not very much to the story; essentially a depressed man finds his calling to help people while in a mental hospital. Robin Williams does pretty good work here.
Some of the film I thought was a bit over sentimental and predictable, but overall not bad. It was good, but it could have been much better if they had not tried so hard to get an emotional reaction from the audience.
