Review of Patch Adams (1998) by Daniel C — 30 Sep 2015
A medical student discovers humour can be used to better treat patients.
A wonderful story in most parts of Hunter (Patch) Adams who has a unique approach to treating patients, much to the irritation of those around him.
Robin Williams is his typical comedic self in this movie but it really reaches home considering his recent passing. While there are plenty of laughs and smiles to be had from this film, it's not to take away from the seriousness of the issues portrayed as well. There's a lot of emotional ups and downs.
Definitely worth watching - again and again.
