Review of Patch Adams (1998) by Shane M — 05 May 2013
Very funny and heartfelt. The only problem is that Patch doesn't act like a serious doctor, and some changes were unneeded, like Carin (was a man in real life), Robin Williams being cast (too old for a 20s Patch, yet pretty good), and not including him meeting his future wife.
Overall, very good, and pretty good comedy-drama, especially for Tom Shadyac (did comedy, but did a documentary a few years ago).
