Review of Patch Adams (1998) by Girlie A — 07 Mar 2015
Two ways to look at this film. One way, watching the film as a film professor or professional movie reviewer and rip it to pieces for all the problems and overthe top acting that has been the downfall for so many movies.
Or from another point of view just turn on the film and get hooked in so much into this true story that nothing else matters. Yes it was basic movie with the same old plot twists and slapstick but it sticks with you, it moves you with highs and lows.
My advice, watch it by yourself, with an open mind realizing that this is a true story no matter how hollywood it may seem and you will be crying your eyes out and love this fill just like I did. Its right up there with field of dreams, my life, and click as far as tear jerkers go.
