Review of Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid (1973) by Kevin J — 22 Jun 2007
Peckinpah shows us a slower, more poetic side of the western genre with this film. James Coburn is amazing as Garrett, a man who is desperately change his values to survive in the changing west, all the while attempting to kill the last piece of his past, Billy the Kid, who still lives by the old set of rules in the west.
