Review of Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid (1973) by Waldo I — 26 May 2009
The real-life Billy the Kid was actually pretty awesome (he really did escape a death sentence by killing the two guards), but I wouldn't have cast Kris Kristofferson. Billy the Kid was a fugitive from the scrappy age of fifteen, and he was only a thin twenty-one when he died.
Plus, Bob Dylan.
