It's a little meandering sure but when this hits the high notes, then it's Pekinpah and Westerns full stop at it's absolute best. Dylan's music fits like a glove, Coburn is always at his best when he's doing grizzled and Kristofferson is terrific as well even if his Billy the Kid is almost ludicrously nice.
