Although not as good as his earlier thrillers (namely Dressed to Kill and Blow Out), it's a return to form for Brian De Palma, and it's enjoyable to see that. Even if you don't know De Palma and his movies, I think you can still get enjoyment out of this movie; namely by watching Rachel McAdams pretty much playing Regina George 10 years into the future.
Overall, an enjoyable stylized thriller.
