A visual treat which is ultimately quite hollow.
This is a beautiful piece of cinema though. The sets are beautiful, the special effects are beautiful and the people are beautiful.
But the cliché ridden plot relies so much on convenience that even the use of some excellent actors is not quite enough to save this film from mediocrity.
