Review of Passengers (2016) by Adam C — 10 Jun 2017
Completely unfair score, no way this is a 31% the critics gave it or even a 63% the audience gives it. It's more like an 80-85%. It is fun, there is a moral dilemma explored and they make the character both sympathetic and overwhelmingly selfish at the same time.
That's a complex emotional experience to invoke in audiences, but with Chris Pratt in fine form, he is able to achieve both, you really do detest and completely understand his actions at the same time.
If you are looking into watching this, do, it is much better (and will hopefully be better remembered) than it reviewed.
