I watched this movie today. I was really impressed by the story and the picturization in general. So I wanted to checkout some more details on this movie as to how it was received and how the reviews were written.

I should say I was very surprized to see so many -ve reviews on this movie. Most of the criticism was around how a lead character was so selfish and so on. I find this very stupid because people are expecting that all movies should characterize the protagonists as impeccable.

Thats absolutely stupid because it would make the movies highly predictable. Those who are criticizing the movie should suggest what else could Jim (Chris Pratt) have done given the situation. I think the line of the story is a perfectly realistic one and those who claim otherwise, I believe, did not fully understand the movie.

I do agree there are some minor flaws like any other major Hollywood movie but I think the movie does strike a chord and it gives bit of a real life feel to it. The dilemma faced by the hero is something we all encounter in our lives many times.

Overall its a great movie. I would suggest any good movie lover to go ahead and enjoy this movie.
