I have to say, the reason I wanted to watch this film was because Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt are my favourite actors right now. They are both funny, grounded and diverse and I couldn't wait to see what would happen if you put then in a film together especially when the entire story centred around them. Exciting.

Although the premise of Passengers is pretty done and been there, the twist and the love story, I think, carried this film. Although there was some stunning scenery some nifty works with tech. Have to say loved the swimming pool idea and the space walk. I really thought that added something different!

This film is essentially a love story in space. I wouldn't say it is a full-on action film. The story challenges human behaviour that people may not he so comfortable with yo watch and it challenges the future very fundamentals of human nature right down to moral obligations, which are horrendously warped, but I thought this intensified the entire plot.

No. This is not an action film, and I do not look at it like an action film, but a romance. An intense romance thriller that deals with morals and unstandable but wrong behaviour that in any other premise would come across creepy and uncomfortable. But within this storyline, it works!

Most looked to the action to be the climax of the film, and if you do, then the film falls short. Instead, for me, the climax of the film was the role reversal in the face of the same moral dilemma. In the last act, Jennifer Lawrence's character is faced with the possibility of facing what Chris Pratt's character had agonised over in the first act. The sudden undeniable understanding of the idea of having to fight your own moral obligations and the possibility of failure with it. The same truth that comes with it, the same wretched decision.

Most would argue that what Chris Pratt's character did was wrong. And it was. Completely. But also entirely and completely human. Which, in the end, is displayed in Jennifer Lawrence's character as mentioned above.

Most found disappointment in the way Jennifer Lawrence's character came to terms with what happened and was forgiving and accepting. However, I, again thought it was entirely human.

Most would say it isn't a love story. Me? I felt that it was an undiluted raw idea of what falling in love is about, not a perfect romance depicted in so many films. But hey.... I guess we would have to get stuck up in space on a 130 year old journey and only have one other person to talk to for the rest of our lives to work out what we'd do in that situation....
