Review of Passengers (2016) by Ron S — 12 Mar 2017
People seem to misunderstand the difference between using tropes and being cliche. This is what it is. A love story. A drama about the human condition that asks hard questions and then does what most of us would do, give an easy answer. Humans like to think but they also like resolutions.
It isn't trying to blow your mind, it's trying to tell a story. And that storytelling is done with glimpses of their life over 2 years. It is surely better than all the other schlocky romances coming out lately.
