Review of Passengers (2016) by Casper B — 19 Apr 2017
The concept of Passengers is certainly original and this is note-worthy. However, this does not distract from the bad performances from Jennifer Lawrence and Laurence Fishburne, the unneeded sub-plot of the Avalon's malfunctions, the plot issues and the poor editing.
The movie does have positives other than the idea, the sets and props are very well designed and made. The film is shot well and has some very interesting visuals. Deslite the issues with the plot, many of its aspects had me engrossed in the story.
