Review of Paris, Texas (1984) by Tee M — 14 Oct 2007
Without question, my favourite film, whether itâ??s the at times awkward, but warm dialogue between father and son, or its wide open, panoramic scenes, its Wenders generous use of space throughout that helps the viewer feel as much a part of this journey as the films two main characters.
But itâ??s the last 20mins that ground the movie and see it at its most poignant, with an incredible monologue by Harry Dean Stanton, reminding his long lost love of the life she had and could still possess.
Well worth investing your time in!
