Review of Paris, Texas (1984) by Nick D — 23 Mar 2011
Gripping first half, with amazing performance by Stanton and a wonderful feel for the period and the awkwardness of the relationships. Falls apart (for me) once the lost soul and the kid head back to Texas, and especially the talky scenes between Stanton and Kinski.
