Review of Paris, Texas (1984) by Laurence B — 11 May 2013
One of the finest films of the 1980s, and possibly the best road trip ever committed to celluloid. This heartbreaking and poignant journey of one man's redemption is so effortlessly constructed by Wim Wenders, a director with an evident confidence of vision and huge ability to draw superb performances from his cast.
A masterpiece.
