Life like a roller coaster~.
When I watched this movie, my emotion went upside down, along with the life path of Pigoil. There're full of sadness, changeling, happiness, excitement in his life!
Because of the persecution of the capitalist, the boss of the music hall suicide, led the working class Pigoil faced unemployment; and due to his wife disloyal, he faced failure of his marriage, lost the maintenance of his son as well. His life went to the bottom.
Stood at the bottom, he and his buddies strived to get back the operation of the music hall, Pigoil became a manger from the working class. This identity gave him hope on his career, marriage and family. His life went to the peak.
However, due to his lack of experience of management, the business can't keep going and need to close the music hall. All his hopes were gone, and he needed to get back to working class. Also, because of the fighting with the capitalist and saved his friend, he became a murderer, was sent to prison. His life went back to the bottom again.
Luckily, his son became a great musician eventually, there's got a bit consolation to Pigoil!
Watching Pigoil's life, I lamented to him! I won't say he's a loser, I think.
He's a victim. He was one of sacrificial lamb in the working class! Their rights and benefits continue to take away from the capitalists. To keep our rights and benefits, we can't be silent, should fight and shout out for any unequal situation. This is the message I received from this movie.
