Review of Parenthood (1989) by Jess W — 29 Jan 2009
It's a family film with a believable family dynamic, so it works a treat. It's surprisingly bleak, but that just adds to its charm. Wasn't sure about the ending though, I don't see how everyone having babies would make them suddenly happy.
This is what family films are like in the hands of a capable director.
