Review of Paranormal Activity 4 (2012) by Hala K — 18 Apr 2013

I wasn't expecting to still be watching this franchise at number 4 as essentially they are all the same. Despite this, and maybe it's because it's been a long time between viewing each film, I still enjoyed them.

Number 4 is probably the weakest of them all. All of them require patience as there is a slow build in tension and scares but this was slower than all of the other 3. The final half an hour was pretty scary but if you've seen the others recently then I'd probably leave it a while before checking this one out.

They probably should have concluded the story with this one but there seems to be a potential for this to go on forever which is a shame because the franchise is in danger of becoming very repetitive or just plain silly.
