The prequel of the first two films has enough characterization and jolts to innovate the second part and sustain the thrills of the original. A part of it keeps on saying that it's still the same found-footage direction so why watch it, but I can answer that by saying that how it capitalizes the thrills is perfect to find a way on controlling another nerve down.
