Review of Paranoid Park (2007) by Helen B — 20 Aug 2009
I kept an open mind for this film but I feel there wasn't much to work with. I understand the direction is meant to portray this disconnected feel of paranoia and emptiness, but somehow I don't think it worked.
The cinematography deserves praise, but I wasn't so keen on the overall wooden acting. The movie is only 80 minutes, but it feels like 3 hours.
