Review of Paranoid Park (2007) by Daniel F — 09 Mar 2010
Taking the idea of dis-sensitized youth in the western world (previously treated by Haneke in "Benny's Video"), Gus Van Sant's "Paranoid Park" gets the character to confess the crime, in writing, while being filmed and watched by the audience, thus absolving both the accused and the viewer.
The solution path here just confirms its own own subject line - indifference.
