Really enjoyable. van sant shows that he is one of the best directors for handling these kinda heavy ass stories. my only real problem comes from the fact that I was in high school much more recently than mr.
van sant, and while the acting was pretty good from the kids, there were certain things they did that didn't make sense with their age (very small things). and some lines just didn't sound right.
overall this movie is enjoyable if only for it's aesthetics.
