Review of Paranoia (2013) by Gabriel M — 13 Aug 2013
With a nice bash to Obama and how he's destroyed the American dream and healthcare during the intro to the movie, Paranoia unfortunately falls flat on its face. Shortly after the opening credits roll, the plot lulls you to sleep as you watch each predictable moment pass you by. Where thrilling moments should occur, Liam Hemsworth's character, Adam, easily thwarts each task leaving you wanting more. Paranoia is filled with cliches adding to the dull nature of the film. Gary Oldman's character even says "Everyone is stealing off of someone else, so get used to it." Talk about putting your own foot in your mouth. The movie as a whole felt more like a Calvin Klein advertisement then anything else. They dress Liam up from suit to suit, as he saunters across the stage sporting new, "cool" trends.
NO KEY SCENES.
Rating: 2/10.
