The only word I can think of to describe Paranoia is bland. Paranoia is far from being the worst movie of 2013, but it's just so bland; which is really disappointing considering the fact that it has two terrific actors in it.

I didn't hate myself for watching this movie, but I just wish that it wasn't so dull. What made this movie so generic is it's lifeless screenplay by Jason Dean Hall and Barry L. Levy. Personally, I thought the story was actually somewhat interesting, but the problem is that this movie is as clichéd as it gets.

I knew everything that was going to happen in this movie just by watching the trailer which is really disappointing. The dialogue here was also pretty iffy and the characters were just as clichéd as the story was.

Robert Luketic is the director of this film and his direction was not bad, but it also wasn't that good. Luketic didn't add much to the movie with his direction which just made the movie even more dull and bland.

Without a doubt, the best part about this movie is the performances by Gary Oldman and Harrison Ford. Why these actors are in this film I don't know, but what I do know is that these two saved this movie from being a total snooze fest.

Both actors did a very good job and the two scenes that they were onscreen together were the two best scenes of the entire movie. Liam Hemsworth was fine in this movie even though I don't think he's ready to be a leading man yet.

He's got the looks but he's nowhere near as being as good as his brother, Chris Hemsworth. Maybe it's the direction, maybe it's not, but for right now I think Liam should stick to supporting roles.

Someday I do believe that Liam could be a leading man, but not right now. One more thing about Liam, he runs very awkwardly in this movie. Amber Heard is great eye candy in this movie, but I didn't believe her as her character.

Oh well, she's still hot. In the end, Paranoia is just bland film that is something you'd probably watch on cable and forget about it ten minutes after watching it. Don't pay money to watch this movie, just wait for it to be on TV or Netflix streaming.
