Review of Paradise Now (2005) by Hannibal O — 01 Aug 2007
Although this doesn't live up to the hype its been given, its an interesting look at the futility and foolishness of suicide bombers and the brainwashing they succumb to in order to carry out their suicide missions.
The film tries to humanize these people, but despite this and due to my personal feelings, I could not feel any empathy for these characters in what they were setting out to do. I see no justification for their actions.
