Powerful without being heavy-handed. I like that it takes for granted that viewers know the social & political context--it's not one of these recent "let's make an action flick that kind of educates Americans about important global issues" movies.
If you liked this, I recommend Battle of Algiers, an older film that takes you into a different (but eerily similar) conflict.
