Review of Paradise Now (2005) by Hobie A — 04 Jun 2008
Very Interesting portrait of a suicide bomber. Told from the Palestinian point of view, both violent and non-violent views are explored. The Palestinians are NOT the evil people some would have you believe. Theirs is a complex, bombed-out, culture which is kept in turmoil both by external and internal pressures.
If you liked Grand Canyon and other movies which depict complex relations amongst demographic groups, then check this out.
