Review of Paradise Now (2005) by Rose P — 08 Jun 2008
I had this on my iPod to watch for ages but kept delaying for some reason. An really intriguing insight into how suicide bombers work in the Middle East. A very human tale, which was acted perfectly and in some ways, bravely.
Mostly, suicide bombers are abhorred on the whole by society, but this made me think again. In lots of cases, it ought to be the influential superiors who should be abhorred, and perhaps not the suicide bombers themselves?
Either way, a very thought-provoking and interesting watch. Well done to the makers of it.
