Review of Paradise Now (2005) by Jaron R — 11 Aug 2008
Extremely interesting, and very enlightening on a subject that many Americans tend to avoid learning about. Its simplicity makes it all the more realistic and astonishing, particularly the performances from the two leads.
This film was extremely well made, but just not my cup of tea exactly. But I do admire how well done and articulate it is. I'd say it was very worthy of its Best Foreign Film win at the Golden Globes.
