Review of Paradise Now (2005) by Gwen H — 29 Nov 2009
Awesome and revealing movie. Another flick about the Palestininan-Israeli conflict. Hiam Abbass is brilliant as always. Wished Lubna Azabal's character appeared more in the film...the voice of reason.
Her heart is with the Palestinians, but because she grew up away from Palestine she has a different perspective from Khaled and Said; who grew up knowing nothing but the conflict and the discrimination and heartache it causes amongst everyone.
