Review of Paradise Now (2005) by Tino R — 27 Jan 2011
Under no circumstances would I ever want to rationalize with radical expressionism or be enlightened with even a sparse dose of reasoning from within the terrorist mindset, but one must wonder what beyond 'crazy' brings a person to fulfill this end-all mission.
.. I conclude that unless you are they you simply won't know and be assured that the movie will not either... but it will speculate over the concluding moments in their rebellious pursuit, including the struggle of parting and imparting the present and future fate of their families.
all done without a single drop of blood (bravo)! two young men 'chosen' to fulfill this mission, suicide bomber, in tel aviv which comes with its obstacles including slight internal doubts. what happens in the end? it's an intriguing finish.
