Review of Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory (2012) by Jordan W — 26 Jan 2012
The Revelations subtitle should've been saved for this film. From new DNA to jury-tampering, the facts presented here are astounding. even more astounding is just how tragically and depressingly the original judge, prosecution, and Arkansas police chief refuse to see reason or use logic lest their infalable decisions be questioned and (easily) be proven wrong.
it seems like by 1993 the justice system should've been beyond this kind of imbalance and ineptitude. ultimately an unfair victory tale, this whole series is an important chronicle of a major tragic folly in the american justice system.
it's also fascinating to watch the evolution of the parents of the murder victims over the course of this series.
