Review of Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory (2012) by Patrick W — 30 Jan 2012
The first half is a recap of the first two installments, which is fine because this is not meant to entertain, but rather to inform. I do wish they'd spent more time on the post-prison lives of Damien and the other two falsely convicted victims of police and prosecutor incompetence.
The entire thing is a damn shame and should never have happened. Pretty neat how they managed to let them go without officially taking the blame for their botched investigation. They consider the case closed and now the actual killer can breathe a sigh of relief.
I don't know it it's Terry Hobbs or not, but come on, they found his hair intertwined with the shoelaces used to hogtie the kids, and he's lied to the police numerous times and has a history of domestic violence.
Seems as if they should look at him a little more closely.
