Review of Paprika (1959) by David C — 16 May 2012
What a bind-mending experience! Satoshi Kon is like the David Lynch of Japan. This was way, way out there; beyond the mundane, your wildest imagination and your weirdest dream.
The only negative thing I can say about it is that sometimes it is a bit to artistic and it let's the story get away from the audience a bit.
Wonder what someone like David Lynch or Michel Gondry could do with this material for a live action movie.
