Review of Papillon (1973) by Natalie T — 26 Dec 2007
This one surprised me. I expected it to be an average film with lots of action, and it ended up being a very character-driven, well-acted film. Both McQueen and Hoffman change physically and characteristically to be convincing as desperate imprisoned men who strike up an interesting friendship.
