Review of Papillon (1973) by Aaron G — 15 Aug 2018
A "true" story that turns out to not be true, and an "escape" movie in which they don't escape (sorry for the spoiler, but you had 45 years to see it). Ends with a narrator (from out of nowhere) declaring "he eventually escaped.
" Dustin Hoffman is the only redeemable thing about this movie (as is often the case). Other than him, a complete waste of my time.
