Review of Paper Towns (2015) by Tim M — 02 May 2016
A wandering mess that still has enough to keep you going. "Paper Towns" tries to be sentimental, but instead turns into a teen mystery road trip. I liked the road trip aspect more because that part of the movie doesn't nearly take itself as serious as the schmaltzy parts.
Well-acted, but not well written and with a finish that falls flat "Paper Towns" couldn't figure out what kind of movie it wanted to be and that was a shame.
