Yikes. Super average. At times awkward with how much its trying. Why they would produce the movie (Fault in our Stars) of the best book first, I have no idea. Aside from Looking for Alaska, all of Green's books can be seen as build ups to the themes covered in TFIOS.
Maybe its because I'm no longer a teen but I still think it falls flat in that regard.
